If you have PowerPoint presentations that you want to share only with select authorSTREAM users, you can simply upload these as "Private". This means that your private presentations are secure and only registered users on authorSTREAM that you invite can see your private presentations. It also means that your private presentations are not idexable in the search engines and are not accessible directly.

Get Your Audio and Animated Presentations Featured
If you have PowerPoint presentations with audio or animations, we recommend that you upload them to authorSTREAM; if your presentations are good and can have an impact on your audience, we would be happy to add them to the ‘Featured Audio’ and ‘Featured Animated’ sections.
Upload Presentations to authorSTREAM using authorPOINT
authorPOINT provides the option to upload PowerPoint presentations to authorSTREAM. You can also use authorPOINT Lite, the free PowerPoint to Flash converter to upload your PPTs to authorSTREAM. authorPOINT Lite is also very useful if you need to batch-convert or batch-upload presentations.
What Drives these Tools?
Both authorPOINT and authorSTREAM use authorGEN’s proprietary PowerPoint to Flash SDK, which is also available independently. So both tools produce the same Flash output.

authorSTREAM RSS Feeds
authorSTREAM now provides RSS feeds. You can use these feeds on your website, blog etc.
You can get RSS for any tag or a combination of tags. For example if you want to subscribe to a feed for, say, "WiZiQ and education" then you can use:

authorSTREAM PowerPoint Sharing - an Introduction
authorSTREAM is a Web 2.0 website for sharing PowerPoint presentations on the Internet.
We developed authorSTREAM for authors to upload PowerPoint presentations; this enables authors to convert their presentation in a website sharing format, where they get a unique URL for their presentation and code to embed their presentation in their own blog or site.
The embedded presentation plays as a Flash slideshow within the page in a Flash player; you can also watch presentations in full screen format. authorSTREAM has been provided as a free service and we wanted to specifically address the needs of presenters with multimedia presentations when we developed this service. We therefore, pioneered the concept of a multimedia presentation sharing service, which supported animations and sound in the online Flash version.
