Did you notice the change in authorSTREAM search results? We just upgraded authorSTREAM search to show up better (more relevant) results, much faster than before. Our Web dev team has done a nice job to make PowerPoint search on authorSTREAM an easy and quick operation, giving you enhanced usability with more sorting options.
Sorting Options
Additionally, you can sort search results by clicking on any of the three options above the main results window: "Relevance", "Latest" or "Downloadable".
As we can see in the next picture, the first two PPTs have the
icon, but not the third one. If you click on the link "Downloadable", it will organize the results again and omit the ones that can not be downloaded.
This is how the results are displayed after we click on "Downloadable".
Using search results
If you click on , you will land on the presentation player page.
You will need to click on theicon again (yes, we know it should not require a second click; we will fix this in the next release). Now, if you are logged in, the PPT file will start downloading automatically; otherwise, the following dialogue box will appear:
You would simply need to log in and your presentation download will start automatically.
