You can now insert videos from your desktop to PowerPoint presentation and they will just play fine as they play in PowerPoint slide show.
You must be aware of that linked media files never go along with PowerPoint presentations when you share them using email or upload them on a presentation sharing website, resulting in missing audio or video when viewed by others. authorSTREAM desktop has come up with a solution for PowerPoint presentations with linked audio or video. authorSTREAM desktop now lets you upload such PowerPoint presentations having linked media(audio/video) and inserted audio or video will be retained in authorSTREAM output.
Firstly, select the video file on your system and insert the video in the presentation through the “Insert Movie from file” option in the PowerPoint. Finally, upload the presentation to authorSTREAM using authorSTREAM desktop. authorSTREAM currently supports AVI, WMV, MPEG, MPG and few other video formats in addition to WAV and MP3 audio formats.
