Convert PowerPoint to video: Play on iPad, iPhone, TV or any other device

A friend once revealed his nightmarish experience wherein his PowerPoint presentation did not run on a client’s MAC computer during an important broadcast meeting. Fortunately he didn’t loose the deal, but was enough to push him to video presentation. In simple words, he now converts his PowerPoint presentation to a video before presenting.

That wasn’t the only reason behind introducing convert to video in 2010. We love the dynamism, charisma, animations, slide to slide movement, etc., that video offers in all formats like AVI, MP4, FLV or WMV and play on systems that do not support PowerPoint and Flash (all Apple devices).

We wanted the same feeler for PowerPoint presentations and convert into different formats like AVI, MP4, FLV or WMV, that are supported by YouTube, iPod, BlackBerry, iPad, iPhone or any other multimedia device; even burn a DVD, and play it on TV.

Lets have a look at some reasons why convert your PowerPoint to video:

  • Retain PowerPoint effects: The video of your presentation retains all the effects of the original presentation – animation, sound and video remain intact
  • You choose the video format: Download the converted video in different formats: .mp4, .wmv, .avi and .flv
  • Send directly to YouTube: You can simply send your video to YouTube right from your authorSTREAM account, with a couple of clicks
  • Converted videos work on mobile devices too: Play video on your favorite – Blackberry, iPod, iPhone, etc. (no need of Flash)
